What about the children in Gaza? More than 4000 children were killed as a result of the Israel response
The Israeli Response
The result of the suffering in Gaza as a result of Hamas’ decision to declare war on us on October 7th is heartbreaking. None of us want to be in this situation.
It was forced upon us by the disgusting massacre that occurred on October 7th when Hamas brutally murdered, raped, and kidnapped elders, women, and children, burning whole families alive.
We are doing everything we can in Gaza to get civilians out of harm’s way, including millions of posters spread by airplanes, tens of thousands of recorded phone calls, and opening humanitarian corridors.
We warned them for three weeks to get out of the northern side. We wish we had another choice other than to destroy the terror organization that perpetrated the biggest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
We wish we could ask Hamas nicely to leave us alone and they would leave us in peace. However, they (Ghazi Hamad - Hamas spokesman) are openly vowing to perpetrate another October 7th again and again until they have destroyed our state, a threat that he has since repeated in subsequent interviews.
This is the threat we are facing: a Jihadi group that openly states it wants to destroy our country and murder our women and children. In order to defend ourselves, we have to eliminate that threat.
Although we cannot trust these numbers since Hamas is the one who reports them, unfortunately, there are civilian casualties, including children, because Hamas uses its civilians as human shields.
